Administration and enforcement of Public Health Ordinance, Food Act, Market and Hawkers By-laws, Refuse and Disposal By-laws and other By-laws of Public Health significance

Ante/Post Mortem inspection of animals before slaughtering in Abattoir

Clearance of roadside and boundary drains within Municipality areas and execute desilting in priority areas

Control of infectious diseases, Anti-Dengue works and execution of Fogging Operation

Flushing and scrubbing of shophouses drains in town and sub-urban commercial areas

Inspection/Evaluation of FOOD and NON-FOOD premises to compliance of cleanliness and maintenance of Markets, Hawker Stances, Stalls and Abattoir

Licensing and control of FOOD and NON-FOOD premises e.g. Foodshops/Restaurants and Hotels/Barber Saloon, Entertainment etc

Licensing and control of Hawkers, Stallholders and Petty Trader

Maintenance and cleanliness of Public Toilets

Maintenance and running of Sewerage Treatment plant at Rejang Park Housing Estate

Maintenance of Environmental Cleanliness and general Public Health such as street sweeping, impounding of unlicensed dogs, removal of bulk refuse
