Enforcement Unit

To be fair and just in enforcing the Council's Laws and Regulations.

In order to ensure that Sibu town is always clean and orderly, inspection will be carried out at least twice a day.

All complaints will be investigated immediately and follow up actions will be undertaken within two (2) weeks.

To educate the public on the Council's Laws and Regulations.

Compound and impounding actions will be undertaken immediately after the expiry dates of the notices issued to the offenders.

To process claims on deposits for banners within one (1) day from the dates of applications provided all the conditions are complied with.

To process claims on impunded goods immediately after the retention period and after all the relevant fees are settled.

Parking Unit

All payments of parking fees are to be dealt with as soon as possible.

All enquiries on outstanding parking fees at the counter or through telephone will be entertained promptly.

All complaints will be dealt with within one (1) week.

Applicatuions for season pass will be approved within one (1) day if there is such allocation.

Car owners will be informed of their outstanding parking fees within one (1) month from the date issuance of parking tickets, provided correct addresses are available.

Public Library Unit

Newly registered members can borrow books on the day being registered.

Readers' requests for information and reading materilas will be attended to immediately on a firts come first serve basis.

To charge three (3) books for each borrower within one (1) minute.

To discharge three (3) books for each borrower within two (2) minutes.<

Public Health And Administration

Application for permission to make use of recreational parks and public facilities under the Sibu Municipal Council jurisdiction will be approved in one (1) day provided that all the informations required are clear and council's requirements are met.

Application for permission to make use of parking bays under the Sibu Municipal Council jurisdiction will be approved in one (1) day provided that all the informations required are clear and council's requirements are met.

Complaints received will be looked into promptly and action will be taken within two (2) weeks provided that action is taken by the section concerned.
